Within IMPREX, research has been conducted into how society can better prepare for extreme hydrological conditions such as flooding and extreme drought. To this end, work has been done to improve forecasts and risk management of hydrological extremes. To embed these improvements in practice, there has been close collaboration with various users from the water sector, including in the areas of: energy, transport, agriculture, urban water management and flood risk.
